Special State Project 

Every two years, members of the New Jersey State Federation of Women’s Clubs (NJSFWC) vote on a statewide non-profit volunteer organization to support.  This year the  selected the special state project is the New Jerey Children's Alliance, Inc    Its mission is to promote hope, healing and justice for child abuse victims. New Jersey Children's Alliance, Inc

New Jersey Children's Alliance is a statewide non-profit membership organization whose mission is to promote hope, healing and justice for child abuse victims by supporting Child Advocacy Centers throughout the state with training, resources, advocacy, and leadership.  We aid communities in providing a coordinated investigation and comprehensive response to victims of criminal child abuse by providing support, training and technical assistance to Child Advocacy Centers and multidisciplinary teams in all NJ 21 counties.

Annual Projects 

Holiday Wish Trees -  

All of the “wishes” supplied by Denville and Rockaway Social Services were fulfilled with the generous support of residents and companies in our service area.

Easter Basket Assembly

We collect items using local donations to create Easter baskets for Rockaway and Denville Social Services.

The children receiving the baskets are ages 3-10. Items that have been requested include: chocolate bunnies, Peeps, jelly beans, Play-doh, crayons, coloring books, stickers, ribbon, bubbles, hair accessories, sidewalk chalk, washable markers, Matchbox cars and small action figures.

Back to School Supplies Collection 

We collect items using donations from local business' and libraries in Denville and Rockaway. 

Supplies such as backpacks, lunch boxes, pens, erasers, pencils crayons rulers, calculators, glue sticks, smocks, etc are put into the backpacks and distributed to the local school children by Social Services.
